1937
A doorway inscription may name the carver Eindridi and his father, Olav of Lo. By 1937, it was badly damaged and difficult to read.

History
- c. 1200Built from pine in southern Norway.
- 1826Painter Johan Christian Dahl urged repairs and an extension to preserve the church.
- 1832The local council chose demolition because the church was too small and structurally unsafe.
- 1841The relocation was decided. Architect Franz Wilhelm Schiertz documented and dismantled the church for shipment to Berlin.
- 1842After the Potsdam plan was dropped, Countess Friederike von Reden proposed Karpacz Górny, and Count Schaffgotsch donated the land. The church reached its new site by river and overland transport.
