  1. 1975The park opened as Base de plein air de Longueuil.
  2. After 1975It was later renamed Parc régional de Longueuil.
  3. Mid-1980sChemin du Lac stopped carrying through traffic between Longueuil and Boucherville after boulevard Fernand-Lafontaine was extended.
  4. June 2010The city renamed the park Parc Michel-Chartrand in honour of union activist Michel Chartrand.
  5. 2016La force ouvrière was installed.
