History
The property was a beech forest owned by the Patriziato di Carona before it was cleared in 1943. He also built a pool.
- 1943After S. Grato hill was cleared, farming began. Martin Winterthalter bought the property, made it his second home and added a stable for his horses.
- 1957A company linked to Luigi Giussani bought the estate. Giussani converted buildings into a restaurant and apartments, created the park and built a pool; the park opened that year.
