History

Under the joint management of Rosa, Hans Rudolf and Doris, the hotel was completely reconstructed. Thomas and Anja managed it from 1987 to 2015; Sven and Manuela took over in December 2023.

  1. 1868The chalet that later became the hotel was built.
  2. 1892Gottlieb Stettler bought the chalet and opened Pension Schoenegg.
  3. 1910Adolf and Rosa Stettler-Pflüger took over and added running water to the rooms.
  4. 1935After Adolf died, Rosa ran the hotel.
  5. 1944–1987Rosa, her son Hans Rudolf and daughter-in-law Doris jointly managed major changes to the hotel.
