History
- 1963A construction company from Turtmann began building the restaurant in summer 1963. Its builders were Alois Seematter-Kalbermatten, Julia Schmid-Seematter and Werner Kalbermatten-Karlen.
- 12 July 1964The restaurant opened, with music and dancing planned for its first night.
- 1974–1979The forest roads from Bürchen and Törbel across the Moosalpe were joined. Before they connected, Alois carried supplies by mule or in a back cage. Building materials reached the restaurant along the Bürchen forest road until 1974.
- 1979The Moosalp ski lift opened.
- 1979–1980The restaurant began winter operations after Friedbert Lorenz leased it.

- 1990The Werner Kalbermatten-Karlen family acquired the restaurant from Alois Seematter-Kalbermatten.
- 1998Amadé and Carmen Kalbermatten took ownership and began operating the restaurant in December.
- 2015The former raclette house became a farm shop for local products.
