History
The family first sold wood carvings and lace to summer tourists. Margrith von Allmen, owner of Hotel Blumenthal, gave the inn its current name. The venue passed through several operators before Ruedi Gertsch bought the house in 1993.
- 1964The Greischberger family ran the venue until 1964.
- 1967Emmi Schär and Hermann «Nagoli» Braunbeck ran it until 1967.
- 1975–1986Hans and Hermine Rubin ran the restaurant.
- 1993Ruedi Gertsch bought the entire house after taking over the restaurant.
- 2007The terrace was redesigned.
