History
The latrine served as both a toilet and a rubbish pit.
- Around 1500Archaeologists uncovered oven foundations dating to this period; a bakery probably operated here alongside craft workshops.
- 1889A restaurant was first mentioned at the site.
- 1908Johannes Pross opened a shoemaking workshop at the rear of the building.
- 1964The Pross shoe shop near Martinstor closed.
- 1983The pub opened under the Schlappen name.
