History
In 1911 Johann Ludwig Fuchs-Winistörfer bought it. In the early years the rooms could not be heated, and guests shared a bathroom on each floor. Today it is a family business with more than 100 years of tradition.
- 1901The building is erected as the Pension Pilatus.
- 1911Johann Ludwig Fuchs-Winistörfer buys the modest pension by the lake.
- 1945Growth, held back by two world wars and an economic crisis, resumes.
- 1950s-1960sTwo new buildings are added beside the original house during the economic boom.
- 1970The hotel reaches its present size and becomes the first four-star hotel on the south shore of the lake.
