History
In 1645 Turkish forces invaded Chania and kept the bath running, making some architectural changes. The bath, known as the Hamam, kept operating until the Turks left Crete. Markos and Eva founded the restaurant in 1982 with a group of friends. Its name comes from the sound of the hamam and an Arabic word meaning 'all good'. Over the years more than 200 people have worked there, and some staff stayed until they reached retirement age.
