- Late 19th c.The pub probably began operating here.
- 1884The business changed hands between Antonín Hrdlička and Václav Petráň; Hrdlička had briefly worked here beforehand.
- 1912Emanuel Klucker took over, and the pub began attracting more guests.
- 1960s–70sUnderground regulars included Milan Knížák, Egon Bondy and Milan Kozelka; some distributed samizdat here.
- 1990sZdeněk Hanzík renovated the pub and continued its traditional pub style.
