History

The Alpina Gstaad occupies the former Grand Hôtel Alpina site. Its founders were Jean-Claude Mimran and Marcel Bach. Gstaad firm Chaletbau Matti designed the interiors.

1995The Grand Hôtel Alpina was demolished on 11 April.
2012The Alpina Gstaad opened as Gstaad’s first new large hotel in a century.
