History
The building later became the Osbourne Hotel. Recent renovations exposed an original brick wall with hand-painted Osbourne House Hotel lettering from the late 1800s.
- early 1860sOsbourne House was built for travellers in the area.
- December 1866Mrs H Wakefield announced the opening of the newly built Osbourne House in Sandgate.
- February 1867Hiram Wakefield received the publican’s licence for Osbourne House.
- 1882The hotel hosted nearly 400 people in a marquee near Picnic Point for a luncheon celebrating the Sandgate Railway opening.
- 1914A skating rink at the hotel was advertised.

- 1953Rolly and Dorothy Roberts bought the hotel and later added a beer garden and bottle shop.
- 1995Renovations uncovered a gambling den upstairs.
- February 1999The hotel had taken the Full Moon Hotel name.
