Three generations of the Bungaro family have run the business.
- 1936The Bungaro family business began as a small shop; Nonno Giuseppe opened a coffee shop in via Ponte Quattro.
- 1980sAlfonso expanded the business into a bar, food shop and tobacconist.
- 2002Giuseppe Bungaro and Mirella added a handmade gelato counter.
- 2015Giuseppe gave the venue a bistro style.
