History
The site was once home to Zum Ewigen Licht. Intended for frying, the batch was considered faulty, so it was boiled in water.
- 16th c.The building at Marienplatz 22 dates to the 16th century.
- Around 1900A new building continued the site's hotel and restaurant use as Peterhof, named after nearby St. Peter Church.
- 1904Hacker-Brauerei acquired the Peterhof complex.
- 1944The building was almost completely destroyed, and the Peterhof hotel was later demolished during the war.
- 1950sHacker-Brauerei rebuilt the site with a cinema, two restaurants and the PresseClub.

- 1996A renovation enclosed the courtyard to create an upper-floor rotunda with a skylight.
