History
The project began when the Pedali farm business planned a farmhouse stay with a zoo to attract guests. The amusement park followed later, opening as Fantasilandia before being renamed Fasanolandia.
- 25 July 1973The zoo opened, with its zoo section designed by Angelo Lombardi.
- December 2013Flooding submerged some animal enclosures and prompted rescues.
- 20 August 2025A gorilla was born at the park, the first born in Italy since 1980.
