Resilient Networking Hub, Devcon 8

Ethereum security is usually discussed in terms of smart contracts, wallets, and applications. But Ethereum is also a distributed communication system. Every user action travels through a wallet, an application, an RPC endpoint, a node, and finally the peer-to-peer network. At each layer, information can be observed or inferred, even when the underlying data is protected. The Resilient Networking Hub is a community space at Devcon 8 built around one question: what makes a permissionless network truly resilient, and what does it reveal about the people using it? Using libp2p, the open-source networking stack behind much of the decentralized web, we explore how networks connect, fail, recover, resist attack, and stay private, and how to measure all of it without compromising openness. This is a hands-on learning space, not a conventional conference track. About half the programme is talks, and half is workshops, experiments, research clinics, and open-source contributor sessions.
