À propos

Cheddar is a high-energy band serving up deep grooves and danceable jams rooted in funk, soul, and R&B. With a lineup of seasoned players and a shared love for getting crowds moving, Cheddar brings both stellar musicianship and serious feel-good energy to every performance. The band features Pete Cornell on guitar, a longtime touring musician who has shared bills with acts like Steely Dan, Alabama Shakes, and Parliament. On vocals is Janéa Hudson, a standout in the Vermont jazz scene known for her powerful voice and her own jazz quartet. On drums is Brandon Terzkais, formerly of the metal outfit Fórn and now leading his own jazz trio, and on bass is Mats Thureson, who also plays with Rose Asteroid, an up-and-coming funk-rock band out of Burlington.
