Histoire
- 1885–1959A funicular carried sightseers to the peak from 1885 to 1920. The No. 11 streetcar served the peak afterward, until 1959.
- 1920sThe hill hosted one of Canada’s best ski jumps near Côte-des-Neiges.
- 1940sHistorical ski facilities included two and a half miles of runs and a former alpine slope with a T-bar and a 100-foot drop.
- 1950s and 1998The forest was damaged by the 1950s morality cuts and the 1998 ice storm, but has largely recovered.
- Late 1970sThe Tam-Tams began as an African-drumming workshop at a jazz bar on Ontario Street.
