Don't miss the 8-time Tony-award-winning (and Olivier-nominated!) show Hadestown, s et in a Depression-era underworld fused with Greek myth. Hadestown focuses on the love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice and the Greek God of the Underworld, Hades and his wife, Persephone. Orpheus and Eurydice are two lovers who are steeped in poverty. For the sake of food and shelter, Eurydice signs away her life and becomes a worker in Hadestown, Hades' underground factory. Orpheus gets to know about this, comes to the Underworld, and vows to save Eurydice.
