The freely accessible first-floor library holds more than 7,500 football publications.
The permanent eFootball section covers video games and esports, particularly the FIFA game series.
The building also contains a restaurant with a terrace, a shop and a seminar area.

For its tenth anniversary, the museum presents the legacies of ten number 10 players; the exhibition is in English.
The museum hosts football talks and panel discussions, film screenings, book launches and quizzes, often with invited figures from football.
The museum takes part in Zürich’s annual Long Night of Museums.

FIFA leased the building in April 2013, and the City approved the plans that November. Museum renovation work ran from 2014 to December 2015.
