A condensed version of our larger touring exhibition, Orcas: Our Shared Future explores the complex and evolving relationship between humans and orcas, tracing shared histories while examining the challenges these iconic animals face today. From Fort Nelson to Trail, and Kitimat to Port Alberni, the Royal BC Museum’s travelling exhibition program has been hosted by 41 venues across the province, reaching more than 300,000 visitors over the past decade. All 11 travelling exhibitions have been developed in-house by museum staff, bringing British Columbia’s stories to communities near and far.
