INNER MOVES WORKSHOP Saturday 24th October | 9:30am-12:30pm Contact Somatics is a movement and embodiment practice for people who want to shift the way they relate to body work – moving beyond mechanical repetition toward how the body actually organises, senses and responds as a living instrument. This three-hour Inner Moves experiential workshop explores the relationship between conscious movement and the body’s own capacity for response and self-generated organisation. Through guided movement, body sensing, drawing, rest and reflection, you will begin by meeting yourself as you are, explore a clear physical inquiry, and discover what becomes possible when choosing and receiving, leading and being led, can work together. Drawing is used alongside movement – a way of noting and looking again at what you’ve felt and found, not a test of artistic skill. This workshop is not about fixing or forcing, you will be building the capacity to move beyond default patterns and discover new possibilities of movement, creativity and expression.
