Istorie
It relocated and expanded in 2016, then took its current name in 2018.
- 1886The Calgary and District Agricultural Society held its first fair, beginning the exhibition tradition.
- 1912Guy Weadick organized the first Stampede rodeo and festival, funded by four local ranchers and businessmen.
- 1923The Stampede merged with the Calgary Industrial Exhibition and became an annual event. Chuckwagon racing debuted.
- 1968The event expanded to ten days.
- 1974Elbow River Camp moved to its present location after flooding at its original site.
