Terms of Service

1. The agreement

invme is operated by Invme LLC ("invme", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using invme you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. If you do not agree, please do not use invme.

2. What invme is

invme helps you find things to do and people to do them with: events, places and the plans other people publish. The information about events and places comes from public sources and is shown for convenience. We do not organise those events, do not sell tickets for them and cannot guarantee their dates, prices or availability — please check with the organiser or the venue. Event and place information is linked to its source; tell us if something is wrong or should be removed.

3. Who can use invme

You must be at least 18 years old. By signing up you confirm that you are. One personal account per person; the information in your profile must be true. You may not use invme if we have previously banned you or if the law of your country does not allow you to.

4. Your account

Keep your sign-in details secret; you are responsible for what happens in your account. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or VK, their terms also apply to that sign-in. You can change your profile at any time and delete your account in your settings; deletion is permanent and removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your content

Plans, comments, photos, reviews and messages you post remain yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt them (for example, resize a photo or translate a text) and to distribute them within invme and in previews of invme pages in search engines and social networks, for as long as they are on invme. You confirm that you have the rights to what you post, including the consent of the people in your photos. Public content can be seen by anyone, including people without an account.

6. Rules for everyone

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or do anything that is:

• illegal, or that helps someone break the law;
• sexually explicit, or an offer of sexual or escort services, prostitution or romantic company for money;
• harassing, threatening, hateful or discriminatory, or that encourages violence or self-harm;
• involving minors in any way that could harm them;
• a sale of drugs, weapons or other illegal goods, or gambling;
• deceptive: spam, scams, pyramid schemes, fake profiles or impersonating someone;
• infringing someone's copyright, trademark or privacy — including publishing someone's personal data without their consent;
• an attempt to harm invme or its users: malware, hacking, automated access or collection of data (scraping) without our written permission, or getting around a block or ban.

Automated filters may reject content or hold it for review before it is published.

7. Plans, paid listings and payments between users

A plan can be free; it can be paid, when the person who posts it charges for a service (for example, a tennis coach or a guide); or sponsored, when the host pays for the activity of the people who join. invme is a place to find company: we are not a party to these arrangements and do not process payments between users. Any payment is settled directly between the participants, at their own risk. Whatever the plan, the rules in section 6 apply in full: listings for sexual or escort services, romantic company for money, illegal goods or services or gambling are removed and the account is banned without warning.

8. Meeting people safely

invme connects people who then meet in the real world. We do not run background checks. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, trust your instincts, and report behaviour that worries you to us and, where appropriate, to the police. You are responsible for your own conduct, online and offline.

9. Reports, moderation and appeals

Every plan, place, comment and profile has a "Report" button, and you can block any user. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours: we may remove content, limit what an account can do, or suspend or ban it. When we act on your content or account, we tell you what we did and why, unless the law forbids it or the content is spam. If you disagree, reply to that notice or write to [email protected] within six months; a person reviews every appeal and we tell you the result. The same address is our point of contact for users and for authorities, including under the EU Digital Services Act; we answer in English and Russian.

10. invme Plus and promotions

Some extras are paid: invme Plus passes (for one day, one week or one month) and promotions that show your plan higher for a limited time. Prices, including any taxes, are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Passes and promotions are one-time purchases: nothing renews automatically. A pass or promotion starts right after payment. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you may withdraw within 14 days of the purchase; because you asked us to start at once, we refund the part you have not used. Where the law of your country gives you further rights, they apply as well. If we change prices, passes already paid for are not affected.

11. Our rights in invme

invme's software, design, texts and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use invme for its intended purpose; you may not copy, sell or reverse-engineer it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.

12. Other services and links

invme links to and embeds other services — venue and ticket websites, maps, videos, sign-in providers. They are not ours, and their own terms and policies apply to them; we are not responsible for their content or their services.

13. Changes and availability

invme keeps changing: we may add, change or remove features and may interrupt the service for maintenance. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes are announced in invme or by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept them, you can delete your account before then; if you keep using invme, the new terms apply.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop using invme and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law, if you put other users at risk, or if we are required to by law; where possible we warn you first and explain why. Sections 5 (for content already shared), 11, 15, 16 and 17 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

15. Disclaimers

invme is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about the accuracy of information from public sources or posted by users, about the conduct of users, or about anything that happens at events or meetings arranged through invme. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

16. Liability

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. In other cases, we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation of this agreement and only for the damage typically foreseeable at the time it was concluded. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, or 100 euros if you paid nothing.

17. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator of invme is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Before going to court, please write to us — most problems can be solved quickly.
